Tyler Sullivan joined We Run April of 2012. He has lived in Iowa his whole life, got his Associates Degree at Kirkwood Community College the fall of 2008, after a couple years off decided to go back to school at the University of Iowa and is currently majoring in Recreational Business Track. He is also is an assistant cross country and track coach at Regina Jr. Sr. High School, where he also graduated from high school. He ran cross country and track throughout high school, and started road races the spring of 2007 and has loved it ever since. His favorite road race distances are the 8k and 10k, but loves to train for the half marathon and tackle the marathon, in which this fall he will be running his first The Bank of America Chicago Marathon. Tyler loves to get to know new runners, and hearing about their story about how running has changed their life. Don’t ever be afraid to ask him any questions you may have about running, or anything you may want to know. Tyler’s goal in life is run a marathon in every 50 state some time in his life, and make each one a memorable experience.

Todd Montgomery has provided part-time assistance at We Run since it's opening.  He is a Cedar Rapids native-graduating from Kennedy HS in 1987.  He later  received his BA in History from Gustavus Adolphus College.  His bread and butter job is working for the Iowa Lottery, as a Lottery District Sales Representative.  Todd picked up the running bug while training and completing his first 5K in 2007.  Since then, he has participated in many races, including 5 Marathons.  His favorite distance is the Half-Marathon; his goals include running a sub-4 hour Marathon and a Marathon in all 50 states. His other interests include biking, lifting weights, and singing.  He highly enjoys working with Brian and Kris in their store, and would like to help anyone that he can with their running/shoe needs.

Michelle , originally from Grove City, Ohio,  she has 6 children (5 of them teenagers).  Her hobbies include playing piano, singing, dancing and teaching aerobics.  Her favorite class to teach is Zumba.   She has been a runner for 2 years.  She never thought she'd be a runner because her friend "talked her into it"  Michelle's response was "I'm not a runner".  Now after 2 years and over 70 races (5 which were half marathons) she claims "I am a runner and I love it!"  She believes you can be fit at any age.  A perfect Saturday would be running a race in the morning and then another race that afternoon.  She is totally addicted to running.  One of her goals right now are to get all of her children interested in running and loving it as much as she does.  She also wants to run a marathon within the next year!

Her favorite running items include:  "the stick" Brooks running shoes, Body Glide, Clif Shot Blocks, Gu energy Gels, Dry Max socks, spibelt, and her most favorite is her Garmin watch.

Michelle loves working at "We Run" because not only does she get to meet very experienced runners and learn about all the awesome races out there that she hasn't tried yet, but she also gets to share her love for running with those who haven't tried it yet.
